Aliens vs Predator (issue 0,1 & 2) by Randy Stradley

Random Comic Review

Traded my Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comics for 3 AvP comics(with full intentions of trading back, although I secretly would like to keep Alien vs Predator). I'm on the side of the Predators because lets face it the Aliens are ugly asses and predators are the badasses. All in all I for one am ecstatic that these creature don't exist because lets face it if they did. we.would.all.be.fucked.

<- Issue 0

The story starts by following a conversation between these two  (spaceship) pilots in outer space. Tom and Scott. Tom seems to have an ethical problem with mankind's attitude towards nature and other life forms. How we keep stripping planets of their natural resources for our own use leaving the other life forms there with nothing and how we harvest other species to extinction. Scott argue's that it's all for survival. It"s an interesting and thought provoking.

In this issue we see the Predators have one of the queen Aliens restrained and laying eggs . The eggs get scanned and the ones with other queen-like embryos get destroyed while the other eggs get loaded up on a ship then dropped on a planet so young predators can hunt them for their initiation trial. In one of the panels we see how the queen moves the machine with her, what my friend says is her vagina but I'm gonna go with ,birth tube to protect the egg with the queen-like embryo.
What makes the conversation and the comic so great is how the conversation flows with the different panels. Tom thinks people have become to much codependent on technology(I agree) .In the panels we can see that although the Predators are far advance technologically they still rely on the old ways, instinct.

At the end of the comic you're left with one question? what happened to the egg?

                                                      --------->Issue1

Now we're on the planet Ryushi, population 115. This is the planet where they drop some of the eggs for an initiation hunt for younger Predators and the question we were left with in issue 0 gets answered.

The story is narrated by Machiko Noguchi . The eggs that were dropped by the Predators have already hatched and infected some of the cattle-like rhino's called ryhnt. One of the ranchers finds one of the facehugger parasites near his herd and then makes up a story about finding it somewhere else, and not near his herd because he was scared   of having his cattle quarantined, AT the risk of sending  infected meat to other planets!! *it's dumb people like this guy that's gonna get us killed!!
When the Predators arrive they get spotted by one of the humans on Ryushi, doc Revna, who was investigating the facehugger parasite. The Predators try to stop him and doc Revna in his failed attempt to escape crashes his hover bike into the Predators ship which gets them stranded. This is one of my favorite parts. After the crash there's a 4 part panel :Revna's skull on the ground, skull gets picked up by Predator,Predator shows skull, then Predator crushes skull with his bare hands/claws(whatever you wanna call it)!
Tom and Scott(Douchebag) are also in this comic. This time we get to actually see them. They arrive on Ryushi to collect the cattle  when they enter the ship to leave..... BAM there's the queen egg, hatched and royally pissed off accompanied by other hatched Alliens. Now it's their turn

<--- Issue 2

Out of the three comics this is my favorite cover but this issue ends on a annoying cliffhanger.
A search party is send out to look for doc Revna. The search party  finds the remains of the Predator's ship where one of the searchers (moron) has a moment of misplaced enthusiasm and revers to the alien spaceship as a chariot of the gods! I mean really you find an alien spaceship You freaking run!! They also find an unconscious predator(yeah right) and decide to take him along to their lab(not knowing they're being followed by the other predators....fools).Children,  What do you do when you find an unconscious Predator? you RUN!!!!
Machiko approaches  (Tom's) ship to ask why they haven't left yet and the Aliens attack .She holds them off for a while until she losses her gun. It looks grim for a moment until a Predator shows up and kills the Aliens, inadvertently saving Machinko and that's the end. But what freaking happens then? does she die? she's between Aliens and Predators? her chances of survival are looking pretty freaking grim. really? I hate cliffhangers!!

This comic was more than I expected it to be. The first and second issue is in color. While reading these comics you can't help but feel sorry for these fictional people who you just know are gonna die. Very ugly deaths by very fugly looking creatures.

Lothaire (Immortals After Dark # 12 ) by Kresley Cole

First off. I love the cover! That's one of the many  reasons that made me really want to read this book. Other than being an IAD fan. The book trailer is also amazing, Paul Marron is hot! and by that I mean I respect his mind. Also interesting fact:  Did you know that Paul Marron is also the cover model for Lover avenged (BDB # 7 )?

Anyways back to the book, Lothaire. I've always had mixed feelings about his character because I'm never sure if he's the good guy or the bad guy. When I'm convinced he's bad he goes and does something not so bad, yes it might be something that benefits (always) him but it's still neutral ground. Hate this character or love this character. He's insane, selfish, crazy and a douchebag. No, seriously after reading this book (alright halfway into the book) the guy is a douchebag.

So Lothaire finds his bride , Ellie. Ellie is possessed by Saroya, vampire goddess of death. Naturally Lothaire assumes it's Saroya who's his mate/bride because it couldn't possibly be the weak human. Lothaire then lets her get caught by the cops . She ends up in prison (death-row). When Ellie's on the execution table that's when Lothaire shows up to save his bride. He then continues to assume Saroya is his bride and treats Ellie like some kind of vessel/body that has his bride in it. He belittles her, treats her like a possession. What.a.douche bag. He's also bossy and threatens to murder Ellie's family to get her to cooperate with him. douchebag!! While reading this book I couldn't look at the dust jacket. Although Lothaire is attractive he's also scary as hell and intimidating. His character is so frightening and intimidating that the freaking dust jacket bugs me.

I loved Ellie's character and how she kept psychoanalyzing Lothaire. She's from Appalachia. I don't know where that is, but apparently that's the lowest kind of human according to Lothaire and he doesn't forget to remind Ellie about her backwater, low cast roots. What I loved about Ellie is that she didn't feel insulted by all the rude , douche baggy things Lothaire said to her because according to Ellie "Insults only hurt when they come from somebody you respect" (damn straight!) Ellie tries to seduce Lothaire into choosing her over Saroya so she wouldn't have to die. This is where the book gets a bit steamy. But Lothaire is still a douche bag! He still continues to put her down. He hurts her in so many ways. Even when he suspects Ellie could be his Bride he still hurts her!! Douche bag!!

One of the best parts in this book is when Lothaire (after he turns Ellie into a vampire) gets his head cut off by Ellie. Of course this was an accident but he didn't know that. Ellie gets taken by the Valkyrie and Lothaire by the Dacian ( new kind of vampires). Lothaire Hates Ellie now (but not really, he's miserable ) and rips his heart out of frustration and sends it to Ellie. Ellie responds and cuts off her middle finger and sends it with Nix to Lothaire  (you go girl!).

I was looking forward to this book because I really wanted to now what happened to Sabin's sister after she fell or did she get dragged down by the winged guy. Sadly there's only a mention that they're still looking for her  and I wanted to read more about my favorite Valkyrie Nix!

Lothaire gets really desperate and goes to Nix for help. Nix is wearing a shirt that says "why can't we be friends" (I love her shirts) and how fitting for Lothaire seeing as they were once friends. She doesn't really help Lothaire with her cryptic answer but she does piss him off a lot. Then there's the part of the story when Nix enters Dacia to deliver Ellie's "package". Lothaire and Nix have a moment. I loved this part.

It's a happy ending. Lothaire is still a douche bag but Ellie keeps him straight. Lothaire is going to help Nix find her sister, Fury. The book ends with Lothaire holding a knife to  kristoff's neck with these last lines "hello brother...."

Johnny the Homicidal Maniac (issue 1 & 2) by Jhonen Vasquez

Random Comic Review

The series focuses on the 20-something year old anti-hero Johnny C, also known as "NNY" (pronounced 'knee'). He is a deranged serial killer, mass murderer, and spree killer who interacts with various other characters, generally by murdering them. He elaborately kills anyone who even slightly irritates him, then drains their blood and paints one of the walls in his house with it. Johnny is also willing to murder "innocent" people who, in his twisted mind, deserve their fate for some reason or another. The number of Johnny’s victims is in the dozens, if not hundreds — or perhaps even thousands. Authorities are unable to capture Johnny and seem unaware of his existence, even though his crimes are often witnessed in public and reported by the few who manage to survive.(from Goodreads)

I"m not an avid comic book reader but I actually enjoyed this depressing, funny, sarcastic and gory comic. Oh yeah I forgot to mention 'Insane" and "Honest".
The issue starts with a note from the author. Interesting sarcastic thoughts from Mr Vasquez.

I bought issues 1 and 2. Each comic seems to have a structure. First there's a story with Johnny then a short about a caricature named Wobbly Headed Bob who is superior than everybody else and must save them from their own stupidity and ignorance. These always end up with somebody dying. Meanwhile we jump to other events happening elsewhere. Then back to Johnny who's probably killing somebody ,then to another caricature named Happy Noodle Boy who's an  insane homeless person and then to the end, which ends with an entry from Johnny's diary.

I like the vocabulary in this comic and the writing on everything cans,shops,t-shirts,buildings. The speech boxes seem too cramped with text. Long text. The text or logo on Johnny's shirts also changes in each scene. That's fun to read and discover.

Issue 1 Johnny breaks into his neighbors house and practically traumatizes that poor kid for life.  My favorite part in this issue is when Johnny freaks out when somebody makes a remark about his appearance saying he looks "wacky". He flips out about the use of such an ass lancing word! and then kills everybody.
motive : " Without fail!! every time I leave my house. It's  as if I've given up my every right to be left alone,or treated with respect!! You flies, with your unyielding  little minds! you think my differences from you is an excuse to comment on me. as if I were on display for you!! like I'm the way I am because I want the incessant gawking of strangers!! not only that but you used the word "wacky"!!!"

This guy seems really unstable and it's understandable why he'd kill those morons. Of course killing them didn't really change anything. Albeit I now have a healthy fear of ever telling anybody they look wacky.

<-Meet Wobbly headed Bob :Doomed with superior knowledge. I love this guys sincere opinions on things be it life, love, education or suicide.

Your thoughts on love Bob: " woeful deceit, soon will you keep each others company merely to sustain your guttural carnal desires. Enjoy yourselves while your simple lust is veiled by delusions of complex affections"

-> Happy Noodle Boy, So he's some insane homeless guy that stands on a box preaching about crazy stuff or screaming about he's genitalia. or maybe spending time jumping on cars making animal noises. Either way he's insane and annoying and I'm always happy when at the end somebody shoots him in the face. Although I've only read two JTHM comics I very much hope he dies in the other comics as well.

Issue 2
"Why are people so.........unpleasant"

Although Johnny's this unstable, crazy homicidal person there are aspects of his character you could relate too. Only difference is we wouldn't go out killing people or maybe we just haven't reached that breaking point yet?

Interesting thing happening in this issue is when Johnny goes on a date .Everything goes normal until Johnny tries to kill his date but gets his ass kicked by a girl. The serial killer getting felled by a chick.

In both issues Johnny tries to kill himself.  In issue 1 he gets talked out of it by inanimate objects that can talk but what really saves him is the TV . In issue 2 he gets extremely suicidal after the store clerks tells him the brain-freez machine is off so no brain-freez. Johnny then wants to die and take the clerk with him. He kills the clerk . Now he can't kill himself because there was only one bullet!! he gets over this set back very fast when he sees  some fiz-wiz in the shop.

Each issue ends with a Dear Diary entry. I leave Johnny(issue2) as he plans to go out and kill a clown. I have little sympathies for clowns because they're creepy.

I hope I can find more of these comics at my bookstore because this is actually an interesting thought provoking comic and funny that borders on frightening. I really hope I never meet the author .

Je relatie kan beter (Praktische psychologie) ,Dirk Mulder(redactie)

"Je relatie kan beter" translated means "You're relationship could be better"
This is a Dutch book about relationships and making them better. It's a psychology book .I figured I'd read something informative and also because I'm going to be studying psychology or maybe sociology when I graduate.

This book is comprised of pieces from articles from the psychology magazine. I'm guessing that's a Dutch magazine. The book is pretty much divided into 6 sections which deal with 1.finding the one 2.unrequited love 3.being together/staying together 4. being faithful/unfaithful 5.when you're relationship isn't going well 6. and changes in a relationship.
There are also some shortened versions of quizzes. They're shortened from the original that was in the magazine. If you have a partner you can take these quizzes together. You can test you're intimacy level, the color of you're love, test your fear of you're partner cheating , you could test how good you are at fighting. The first test is a compatibility test.

There are also some funny myths that are mentioned in this book like:
1. you can't fall in love with 2 people at once, this was a bit annoying because then you're insinuating that you can love to people at once. According to this book you can .Sometimes you get something different from another person than from your partner. 2. "men are naturally not monogamous, that's a woman thing' ha! well women seem to be becoming less mono and more poly. So dudes better watch it. 3.Your lover should be your best friend and 4. you never get over a partner that cheats according to this book you can.

I enjoyed this book and if I learned a lot I'm not sure. In a relationship you should be open and clear about things you like and don't like. You should be honest to each other. You should be you and not lose yourself by always compromising or always trying to be there for your partner. You should give as much as you get.

I've mentioned the tests right . After reading this book and taking the tests it turns out I avoid relationships and have intimacy issues. I refuse to believe this. oh and I'm a selfish lover. I am selfish I'll give you that.

But I can't accept this because I've never been in a relationship or really loved. I would be an awesome lover!! stupid book.

Other fun/interesting things  I liked  : the best kind of  love is  the unfulfilled love. Unrequited love!! I agree this is the best kind of love. Nobody gets hurt and it's fun while it lasts. I can totally do this kind of love. I also liked the "conspiracy of silence" apparently this is something that happens between somebody who's crushing on a girl/boy and asks this person of interest to go out (this happens many times) but the boy/girl always gives an excuse that they can't go. The boy/girl is indirectly turning the asker down and the asker will keep trying or refuses to get a clue!  I find this really interesting and maybe I like it a bit more because it has the word conspiracy in it.

This was a really easy book to read. very understandable and it also gives you advice. I didn't agree on everything in this book and sometimes it sounded textbook-like. Although that is what it is I suppose.
*this is a dutch book

The Darkest Seduction ( Lords of the Underworld #9) by Gena Showalter

First of the cover: I love it! The woman can pass as Sienna and ever since I've seen this cover I've been ever wanting to read this book.

This book is full of surprises! and has an awesome but also mushy ending. seriously the last pages are so mushy.

I've never found Sienna's character that interesting. although in this book we get to know more about her. Her character develops from the mousy woman into a more feisty chick. Se has more balls now and newly possessed by Wrath she's rocking those wings...when she eventually learns how to use them.

Paris succeeds in finding Sienna with help from William and Zacharel but trust becomes an issue between them which  they eventually resolve. Sienna and Paris's story develops nicely . This book reminds me of the first LOTU books because Paris was one of the first characters I read about but his character has changed a lot too. He becomes more darker and yet he's still Paris. So reading  his story was interesting. Paris gave up Sienna to save Wrath. Sienna betrayed Paris when she posed as bait. These two have baggage. And Paris is possessed by the demon of sex so there is  a  lot of that going on. angry sex, recovery sex, recreational sex, some more recovery sex, yeah.

There are also other things happening in this book and we  meet  new characters . Sienna kills Cronus and she becomes the new boss-queen and gets all of Cronus's powers. Kane's still trapped in hell being raped by she-demons who want to have his babies. He gets rescued by a mysterious woman. I want to guess that it's the female horsemen but they can't leave hell. The woman who saves Kane said she'd take him  out of hell in return he should end her life. Ashlyn gives birth to her twins who they insanely name "Ever" and "Urban" , well actually they claim the kids picked their own names. Which could be possible seeing as their demon babies!! I preferred Williams suggestions Murder and Mayhem . Those seem like fitting names. Oh and there's  some kind of romance between Galen and legion.

The lords also move from the old castle to the one Cronus kept Sienna in. There she was kept prisoner as well as three other immortals. Interesting immortals I'd love to read more about. there's : Cameron- possessed by obsession , through Sienna we get an interesting glimpse of his past "blood, battle, a woman in  his arm, limp, dead...."  brief description of Cameron : " his bronze, glistening skin, sweat dripping along the sexy ridges of his muscles....' yes very interesting.
Pukinn- I could badger this guy about the weirdness of his name but he'd probably ignore me seeing as he's possessed by the demon of indifference, half beast and half man with an Irish accent. What a weird combination I'm not sure how to feel about this beast-man although I'm very curious.
the there's Winter- possessed by selfishness. Cameron and Winter might be related.

There's also another new immortal : Viola who's possessed by narcissism. MY GOD!! this chick is so self-centered. Even reading about her talking about herself is annoying. I pity the Lords.

Ofcourse I have to mention my favorite angel Zacharel. I can't wait for his book. I really want to read about the woman who  melts his ice.

Things are looking good for the lords at the end of this book. It's a happy ending but a confusing one for  me. Did I miss something is this serie ending? because it feels like that. Cronus dead, Sienna the  new queen, no more trouble from the hunters. I'm confused. What about Kane and Torin?

Angelfall by Susan Ee

It’s been six weeks since angels of the apocalypse descended to demolish the modern world. Street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back.

Anything, including making a deal with an enemy angel.

Raffe is a warrior who lies broken and wingless on the street. After eons of fighting his own battles, he finds himself being rescued from a desperate situation by a half-starved teenage girl.

Traveling through a dark and twisted Northern California, they have only each other to rely on for survival. Together, they journey toward the angels’ stronghold in San Francisco where she’ll risk everything to rescue her sister and he’ll put himself at the mercy of his greatest enemies for the chance to be made whole again.

I've read so many good reviews about this book.  Reviews about how awesome, funny and surprising this book is and I got to say they hold up to what they say.

The first thing that got my attention was the cover. I love the cover. The colours and the wings and after reading the book How Raffe loses his wings The cover makes more sense now. It's a pretty and meaningful cover.

The story is told from Penryn's POV completely. Her thoughts and observations and feelings. Penryn's a great female lead. The kind I: like a strong , smart female figure. She gets the angels Raffe to help her try to save her sister Paige who gets taken by some angel. On their journey to the angels compound they get chased by dogs and cannibalistic "demons" . There's also a lot of death in this book. It's  a post apocalyptic world with some very detailed scenes of carnage, destruction and death. Scenes where a family: mother, father and child  lay dead on a street half eaten. Of two young girls hung from a tree. of people  starving.

Aside from these morose aspects of the book the banter between the two main characters is awesome and more light hearted(at times). Raffe is a smartass and handsome to boot. You're going to love this guy. Penryn and Raffe slowly fall for each other.  Some emotional, touching scenes. -When penryn has a nightmare Raffe takes her into his warm arms and comforts her penryn thinks she dreamt this  -when penryn has to leave the wheelchair behind Raffe tricks her into feeling better. You are totally going to love this dude. Then there's when they get into the angel compound and Raffe kisses her, penrynIt is not the gentle kiss of a couple on a first date, nor is it the kiss of a man driven by simple lust. He kisses me with the desperation of a dying man who believes the magic of eternal life is in this kiss.”  You must be sold already on this book!!

Then after the kiss he tells her that he doesn't even like her.  At this point I'm like "really"?

Then  there's also Penryn's schizo mother. This woman you will like ,fear and downright want to avoid  at all cause (if she were real that is). Especially if she has a probing rod.

Penryn finds her sister but she's been altered ,she's been made into one of these cannibal demons Penryn and Raffe had to fight off in the woods.

Raffe's wings get switched with bat-like wings. This was done so that Raffe would look like a traitor and his men would choose to follow  Uriel . This has to do with angel politics.  While this happens Raffe's wings and penryn's sister: there's a resistance happening outside. The humans blow the angels compound up .This they do for hope. For humanity. To show the angels and the people that they will fight.

I loved this book. It's a fantastic, ridiculous ,funny , sad and surprising book . The only thing I didn't like is the ending.  Penryn gets paralysed by some scorpion/angel thing .Raffe then takes her body(because he thinks she's dead) to the resistance. Penryn slowly overcomes the paralysis of the scorpions poison and notices Raffe following them. I know there's going to  be a second but I wanted MORE!!

This week's question:
If you had 600 million dollars to spend,
what would be the first thing you bought?

Well seeing as I kind of reversed my car and hit the door of a beer truck that was parked behind me today. I guess I'd take that $600 and pay for the damages to my rear end. I mean the rear end of my (Dad's) car. I've had my license for almost a year now. I'm not the greatest driver(I'm rude, run red lights(cuz I'm daydreaming) and rude) and I always new this day would come. I've been consumed by guilt and guilt eating, and watching Charmed to get rid of the guilt. I'm a moron, I'm a moron. I'm sorry BEER truck.

Bleach volume 37 by Tite kubo

Beauty Is So Solitary: Soul Reaper captain Shinji Hirako has uncovered Aizen's betrayal, but it may be too late. As some of the Soul Society's greatest Soul Reapers transform into Hollows, it will be up to Kisuke Urahara to save them. And back in the present time, the grand battle between the Thirteen Court Guard Companies and the remaining Espada finally begins!

Volume 37 continues where we left off in volume 36. Aizen reveals himself to Shinji as the person responsible for kidnapping some of the soul reapers and also reveals he's been experimenting on them. He then goads Shinji into getting angry speeding up his hollowfication process.

Gin and Kaname are also aiding Aizen in his "crazy experiment".

Urahara and Tessai then show  up and . They save  Shinji and Co take them to Urahara's barracks and try to reverse what Aizen did.  Now we now where Tessai and Urahara's friendship began and how. We also learn more about the Hogyoku.

Aizen then rats on Urahara and Tessai to the Council of 46. He comes up with this story that Urahara has been the one kidnapping and experimenting on the soul reapers which of course the old farts believe. Yoroichi comes to save Urahara and the rest. Now we know why Yoroichi is also banned from Soul Society

The pendulum stops now and we go back to the confrontation with the soul reapers and Aizen over karakura town.

This volume has 10 chapters in it , the first 3 are the last chapters of the pendulum arc. The rest goes back to the Fight with the Espada. The first fight is between Ayegawa and Charlotte . This is a funny and annoying fight. We also learn more about Ayegawa's zanpakuto

We get glimpses of Ichigo and his friends in Las Noches trying to save Orihime. There's also a scene in Las Noches between Ulquiorra and Orihime.  This really emo scene with Ulquiorra and Orihime. He asks her " what is a heart ? can it be seen if I rip open this chest of yours? If I crush  you're skull will I find it there?
<- emooooo
Alright prince of darkness YOU are in serious need of a happy meal. Then enters Ichigo . The fight between Ichigo and Ulquiorra is really awesome so I might be contemplating buying the next issue just for that fight.

As for the Espada's I like the use of spanish for naming their attacks. It's a nice touch to things.
Charlotte's  uses one of his attacks "blanca rosas" to surround Ayegawa and Charlotte where no one can see them. This gives Ayegawa the opportunity to use his zanpakuto's true form which he keeps secret from everybody.

As for Charlotte . Man I hate the guy. He's loud, sparkly and conceited. I know Ayegawa is as well but at least his aesthetic standers don't border on Ugly!

<- this guy ....just really.....*facepalm

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe ( The Chronicles of Narnia) by C.S Lewis

" Narnia they open a door and enter a world"

You must know this story already either from the cartoon or the movie Or you did not have a childhood.

I read this in one sitting and it was time well spent and wonderful to get lost in Narnia and just generally fun to say "Narnia". It's like a wonderful adventure with great characters and animals, giants  other mythical/fairytale creatures and of course The Witch. Can't have a story without a villain now can we.

As you know or might now there are these four kids who go through a wardrobe and end up in another world called Narnia. Peter,Susan, Edmund and Lucy Penvensie and there's an old rhyme

" When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone.
Sits at Clair Paravel in throne,
The evil time will be over and done"

This book has a happy ending they fulfill this prophecy and overthrow The Witch and Narnia goes back to how it was. The Penvensie become the new Queens and Kings of Narnia. What I found ironic is that Edmund( Judas!) becomes King Edmund the "Just" . I didn't particularly like his character . He was very , well he was a beast as Peter put it. He betrays he's brother and sister for Turkish Delight? part of me gets that because I'd probably do that to my little brother too, so he gets turned into stone that doesn't sound too bad....but my mom would hate that . Edmund's character was very unpleasant at times but the narrator does state that we shouldn't judge poor Eddy to harshly because the chocolate was bewitched! and Ed does change for the better later in the story. But I still don't like him.

Then there's Aslan!! A lion!!I think anybody would love he's character . I for one loved Aslan when I saw him for the first time when I was a kid in the cartoon.
The there's Maugrim. I didn't like that Maugrim , a wolf was made out to be a bad guy. I love wolves they're not so bad when they're asleep and you're save behind a fence or up a tree.

Either way this is a great book ,a wonderful book that will remain so for ages too come.
You might just find yourself going into your closet looking for Narnia when you finish this book( NOT that I did or anything because that's just foolish).

Speculation:

Any sensible person knows there can't possibly BE a another world in a closet/wardrobe. BUT what if Narnia is another dimension. Dimensions are real! theoretically right?

Did you know That C.S Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien were friends. Maybe Middle Earth is  another dimension too!! how cool would that be. Party in the Shire, Dinner with the Beavers.

Aslan would probably eat me and so would Maugrim, but wouldn't it be worth it?

What makes this book even better are the illustrations and the dedication.
That's why I'm grading this classic 5/5
